"The Future Belongs to Those Who Prepare for It Today"

How often, when something unexpected happens, have you said to yourself, "If I had known this was going to happen, I would have...?"

We prepare for storms by stocking up on essentials, like milk, bread, or water- just in case. When we pack for a trip, we take several changes of clothes- just in case. We check to make sure we lock our doors and turn off the lights before we leave the house- just in case. We wear helmets and protective gear when using power tools, playing sports, and engaging in various recreational activities- just in case. The potential for things going in a not so ideal way is commonplace when we talk about weather, traveling, and even playing games. But how often do we prepare for, or even think about the possibility that we can prepare for, those times that are emotionally or mentally trying?

You don't need to be in crisis to reach out. If you live in eastern North Carolina, RHA Mobile Crisis Management Services not only provides support in time of crisis, but also assessments, referrals, warm-line support, information, and help navigating the complexities of getting substance use/abuse and ID/DD help.

Like the saying goes, "Prepare yourself ahead of time, so that when hell happens, it doesn't feel like."

Don't wait for the crisis to happen. We can help you prepare.
